I feel very privileged to have played a part in the Carol and Clive story. I remember meeting you both around 1968/9 in Ronnie's Jazz Club on the Barbican in Plymouth. Husband Tony Bagot and I both met in Monty Sunshine's Band before moving to Plymouth when Tony joined Rod Mason's Jazz Band on double bass with yours truly providing the vocals. You both spent the early part of your courtship at our home in Mirador Place, Plymouth and over the years we remained in touch, sharing our wows and triumphs. It's a friendship I will always treasure.

Sadly Tony passed away in 2020 and now we must say farewell to our dear friend Clive. Loving friends and family are truly what count in this life and Carol, you and I share these gifts in abundance and we treasure them through the good times and especially when they sustain us through the turbulence.

Our children Amanda, Lisa and Martin join me in sending love and kindest thoughts to you, Lisa and Gareth and to all your friends and family who share your sorrow.
